The Conrad Jupiters has one of the largest convention spaces of any hotel in Australia. While large may not suit every group, our convention area is incredibly flexible and our team has the ability to tailor the space and services to suit all your needs.

The Conrad Jupiters' purpose-built Pavilion Convention Centre provides 1627.5 square metres of pillarless convention or meeting space that can cater for up to 2300 delegates theatre style or 1300 guests banquet style. The space can be broken down into seven separate convention areas. Additionally, the Convention Centre also houses six smaller breakout rooms, a convention secretariat and a terrace with a spacious lawn area.

Delegates can meet by the poolside, convene in our restaurants or construct an agenda that suits them to a tee. Add to this the professionalism of our award-winning Convention Services team and you'll have a recipe for success. Specialist coordinators and banquet chefs are on hand to tailor suitable programmes that combine 'work' and 'play'.

The Pavilion Convention Centre is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. With audio-visual technology changing so rapidly, the hotel hires equipment specifically to suit each convention to avoid holding outdated equipment. This ensures convention organisers receive the very latest and best equipment for their particular needs.

Themed Events
The Conrad Jupiters' Convention Services staff provides backgrounds to order. Putting in place a Sahara desert, complete with camels, a circus ring, a glittering night at St Petersburg, a snow scene in Alaska, a cruise in equatorial waters, a Polynesian island or formal boardroom - say the word and hey presto!

Jupiters Casino
The successful Jupiters Casino provides 24-hour, red-hot excitement and entertainment and has more than 100 gaming tables and 1300 gaming machines.

Jupiters Theatre
The Conrad Jupiters also features a brilliant theatre-style showroom called Jupiters Theatre, which seats 1125 guests and has played host to some ten original live productions over the last 13 years. The Conrad Jupiters' shows provide a perfect escape for convention delegates. Jupiters Theatre is also available during the day for plenary sessions for up to 1119 delegates, with full staging and audio-visual facilities to directly service the theatre area. Special cabaret shows can also be staged in this technically versatile showroom exclusively for convention delegates when it is not being used for regular performances.

Conrad Fitness Centre
With increasing corporate awareness of health and fitness, the Conrad Fitness Centre and jogging track have become important facilities for the convention organiser. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, professional fitness personnel, a squash court, pool, spa, steam room and massage facilities.

If convention delegates have the time available, there are hundreds of other activities to enjoy just outside the Conrad Jupiters' doors.

The Conrad Jupiters is linked by monorail to the Oasis Shopping Resort with its 150 stores. It also provides a convenient step-off point to the beachfront, allowing guests quick and fun access to shopping and the surf. And it's also a short five-minute walk to the Gold Coast's largest shopping centre, Pacific Fair. Other attractions range from bush walking and exploring the rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland to spending lazy days on golden sandy beaches or shopping for bargains in one of the many international boutiques the tourist strip has to offer.

The only possible problem for convention guests at the Conrad Jupiters is accepting it's time to go home.

Our purpose-built Convention Centre offers:

  • Maximum pillarless floor space in the Pavilion Ballroom of 1627.5 square metres, catering up to 1300 guests banquet style or 2300 delegates theatre style
  • The Pavilion Ballroom divides into seven independent rooms
  • Convention area can be broken down into 13 smaller meeting rooms of various sizes and configurations
  • Six separate breakout rooms and a secretariat
  • Ground floor location is ideal for access of heavy or oversized equipment
  • Unique outdoor venues such as our terrace, lawn, poolside area and wharf, as well as a gallery and semi-permanent hoeckerdome provide attractive alternatives for plenary sessions, briefings and catered functions

Pool Area
Many organisers also choose the tropical setting of the pool area, with its imposing Roman pavilion and fairy-lit trees and fountains, as a venue for cocktail parties or other informal social functions.

Penthouses
For special board lunches, smaller meetings or product showings, the hotel's penthouses can comfortably seat 25 for a meal with butler service. The penthouses have recently been refurbished, ensuring luxurious appointments second to none. Pre-dinner cocktails can be served on the balconies, which have sensational views of the coastline south to Coolangatta and north to Surfers Paradise and beyond.

The Conrad Jupiters continually upgrades its convention facilities in order to meet the expectations of corporate clients. The Conrad Jupiters has won Queensland's 'Leading Hotel Convention Five-Star Venue' award five times over the past few years.
